Schoology and PowerSchool Grade Syncing

Please note that grades are not automatically pushed from Schoology to PowerTeacher Pro--it must be done by you. There is a great Demo on how to do this in the PowerTeacher Pro course in Schoology.  If you haven't yet, the join code for that course is: ZJQT-Z6DV-QQC86.

Please avoid using special characters in your assignment names.  We've discovered that symbols such as "&", "?", and "!" can cause the sync to fail.  Assignment titles are limited to 50 characters.  If you try to sync an assignment with a title longer than 50 characters, it will not process.  You can get around this by selecting the "Automatically shorten assignment titles" in the PowerSchool Sync configuration.

Please make sure that each assignment has been given a category that you've connected to a category in PowerSchool.  The PowerTeacher Pro course in Schoology demonstrates how to do this.

All assignments must be associated with a grading period.  If not, they will not sync until the last day of the term. 

If grades are not syncing, log out of both PowerSchool and Schoology and then log back in. If you still have a problem, please submit a help desk ticket.
